You can promote affiliate products in several ways, offer a free ebook (containing your affiliate links), offer a free membership with a paid upgrade, or a direct affiliate link.

The next stage of any download page is a sign up box.
The sign up box means that you will capture the buyer's email address and send them future related offers.
I personally use Aweber.
I use Aweber for a few reasons:
1. I get a neat little pop up on my website for capturing emails
2. I can have unlimited auto responders.
Unlimited auto-responders means that I can have as many mailing lists as I like.
For example:
I could have an email list related to Affiliate Marketing.
I could have an email list related to Writing Ebooks.
I could have an email list related to Designing Graphics.
But why would I want so many mailing lists?
Because the more targeted that the content of the emails are in the mailing list, the more chance of future sales.
Of course I could have one list, then send emails covering every topic, but this is "hit and miss".
If you know a person has signed up to your mailing list for information on "Writing Ebooks" and you give them content or promote products on writing ebooks, you keep your subscribers happy by simply giving them what they want!
It's very important to provide GREAT CONTENT!
After all, people have given you their email, don't ever abuse it.
Send them related offers and you will never see any of them opt-out of receiving your emails.
I remember when I started my 1st online business, I was a complete newbie, starting a newsletter / mailing list terrified me!
What on earth could I write about?
That's why it's a good idea to buy pre-written email content.
Once you are more experienced you can then move on to writing your own content.
I have an excellent package for newbies out there, of pre-written content that you can just copy into your auto-responder and send out on auto-pilot.
This will easily help you start building a mailing list without writing a word.
