This week I want to discuss choosing your subject or "niche" as it's known online.
So should you really list any ebook you can find with resell rights.
Sure, if you want a mailing list full of people but don't know what to offer them!
Wouldn't you rather build a mailing list full of people who you know EXACTLY WHAT TO OFFER???
Many people say... "But Sally, you sell all kinds of ebooks"
Yes, I do, but I am targeting people who want to begin selling ebooks or who already sell ebooks because I want to give them advanced reseller techniques and tips.
Many people say I have a list of 10,000 but it's making me zero profit.
Possibly because the list is a general one.
Imagine you had a list full of 10,000 people interested in cooking, and you sent them an offer for a new ebook filled with brand new recipes...
Do you think you make many sales?
OF COURSE YOU WOULD!
Or lets say you have a list of 100 subscribers who love dogs...
You send them an offer of a dog related ebook such as "Do You Speak Dog, Understand What Your Dog is REALLY Saying To YOU!" or something like that, will you make sales?
OF COURSE YOU WILL!
What about if you had a list of subscribers interested in losing weight, you send an offer of a brand new diet, will they buy it?
THEY WILL BITE YOUR HAND OFF TO BUY IT BELIEVE ME!
If you target one niche, one bunch of people, the success rate of your future sales will increase dramatically.
Choose a subject you already know about, or you are passionate about and you are onto a surefire winner!
Search Ebay, Google, everywhere and get your hands on ebay ebook related to your subject.
Better still start writing your own ebooks, search for related affiliate products to link to in your ebook.
Don't be a sheep following all the other ebook sellers on eBay, become the WOLF!
Many people ask do they need a website, well ideally I would say yes, because you have to have some where to divert your buyers after that 1st ebay sale.

You have to start thinking 2, 3 and 4 steps ahead of your ebay sales.
Remember earning money selling ebooks only BEGINS with that 1st eBay sale!
